Hey Sid is growing fast, but we’re still early. We’ve built a powerful platform for Individual-Based Marketing, and we’re helping B2B companies transform their commercial motion. Now we’re looking for a Founding Head of Marketing who can take our GTM to the next level.

This role is not for everyone. But for the right person, it’s the chance to build an entire marketing function from scratch, shape our brand, 10x our pipeline, and work directly with the CEO to define how Hey Sid shows up in the world.

You are a full-stack marketer who can think strategically and execute quickly. You’re excited about building something from zero. You love experimenting, measuring, and iterating. You know how to tell a strong story. And above all, you know how to generate demand without relying on big ad budgets.

You should be deeply interested in AI workflows, automations, agents, and using technology to multiply your output.

If you enjoy wearing many hats and want to build a marketing engine that scales, this is your role.

What you’ll be responsible for

Short-Term Responsibilities (0–6 months)

You’ll take immediate ownership of:

Email & Automation

  • HubSpot promotional email campaigns

  • Newsletter sendouts to existing clients

  • HubSpot automation, workflows & nurtures

Outbound Marketing

  • Cold email messaging & sequencing

  • Cold LinkedIn messaging (aligned with Precision Connect)

  • Building prospect audiences using Apollo, Clay, and other GTM tools

Website & SEO

  • Owner of our website (Framer) and what we communicate

  • Building new landing pages for campaigns

  • Leading our SEO strategy & implementation

  • Conversion optimization & analytics across all pages

Content & Social

  • Creating a content system, not just posts

  • Managing the full editorial calendar

  • Defining brand guidelines & creative direction

  • Scriptwriting for videos (Riverside, YouTube, ads)

  • Repurposing content across channels

  • Owning LinkedIn organic: company, CEO, and team profiles

  • Managing all social media (LinkedIn primary; Instagram, TikTok, YouTube secondary)

Brand & Product Marketing

  • Translate product features into customer-facing value

  • Write release notes, product posts, GTM materials

  • Ensure alignment between marketing, product, sales & CS

Operations, Analytics & Stack

  • Own & optimize the marketing tech stack (HubSpot, Framer, Clay, Apollo, GA4, Zapier, Riverside, etc.)

  • Build monthly marketing performance reporting

  • Define KPIs for each channel

  • Set up GA4, tracking, dashboards & UTM systems

  • Manage a very limited marketing budget, and make it count

Sales Enablement

  • Create and maintain sales materials: pitch decks, case studies, one-pagers, ROI sheets, and email scripts

  • Build industry- and persona-specific assets for outbound and demo follow-ups

  • Support Sales with messaging, objection handling, competitive insights, and GTM alignment

  • Maintain an organized sales enablement library and ensure all materials stay fresh and impactful

Mid-Term Responsibilities (6–18 months)

Once the basics are running smoothly, you’ll:

Brand & Demand Expansion

  • Launch webinars, events, livestreams, podcasts, YouTube channels

  • Run Google Search ads (via SEO research & keyword strategy)

  • Establish partnerships that amplify our brand & drive SQLs

Paid Growth

  • Launch paid social campaigns when timing is right

  • Experiment with conversion ads on LinkedIn

  • Test new acquisition channels

Team Building

  • Recruit and lead marketing interns, freelancers & future FTEs

  • Build scalable processes, playbooks & workflows for each channel

  • CEO (your manager & strategic partner)

  • Design team (content, creatives, campaigns)

  • Sales team (outbound alignment, messaging, SQL quality)

  • Customer Success (case studies, testimonials, insights)

  • Product team (feature launches, product marketing)

  • You’ve laid the foundation for a future marketing team

1. Build Hey Sid’s brand

We want to become the category owner of Individual-Based Marketing. Your job is to make our brand visible, trusted, and impossible to ignore.

2. Generate leads for the sales team

Your KPI is SQLs.

  • Inbound: 2–4 SQLs/month today → we want to 10x this

  • Outbound: 45 booked meetings/month today → we want to 10x this too

You’ll own the entire top-of-funnel engine: content, SEO, outbound messaging, email marketing, social presence, website performance, and more.

You’ll report directly to the CEO, who is currently acting Head of Marketing, and take full ownership of both strategy and execution.

This is a David vs. Goliath type of role. We don’t have a huge marketing budget.

You’ll need to be smart, creative, resourceful, and AI-native in how you work.
