We use the personal data we collect for the following purposes:

Personal data is processed only when there is a valid legal basis, such as your consent, the performance of a contract, our legitimate interests, or a legal obligation.

We may share your personal data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our Website and conducting our business, such as:

• Website hosting and infrastructure providers (e.g. Framer)

• Analytics and performance tools

These third parties process personal data on our behalf and are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only in accordance with our instructions and applicable data protection laws.

Some service providers may process personal data outside the EU/EEA. In such cases, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with GDPR.

LinkedIn Data

Sid's Authority Builder service publishes the posts you approve to your LinkedIn profile or your company's LinkedIn Page, and shows how they perform. To do this you connect your LinkedIn account to the Sid platform.

What we collect: when you connect your profile, your LinkedIn member ID, name, profile photo link and an access token; when you connect a Page, the ID, name and web address of the Pages you administer and an access token. While you are connected, we read performance figures for your posts and your Page from LinkedIn when you view them (for example impressions, reactions, comments and followers gained).

How we use it: only to publish the posts you approve and to show you how those posts and your Page perform.

Who sees it: figures for your posts and your company Page are shown only inside Sid, to you, your colleagues who use Sid and Hey Sid staff working on your account. We do not sell LinkedIn data or share it with anyone else, and it cannot be exported from Sid.

How long we keep it: performance figures are read live from LinkedIn and kept only in a short-lived cache, never stored. Your member ID, name, photo link and access token are kept until you disconnect. Access tokens are stored encrypted.

Disconnecting and deletion: choose Disconnect next to your LinkedIn connection in Authority Builder, or Disconnect on the Company page for a Page; this deletes the access token and clears the cached figures. You can also remove Sid's access in LinkedIn under Settings, Data privacy, Permitted services. To have all LinkedIn data we hold about you deleted, email hello@heysid.com.
