AI SDR Pricing Compared: 11x, Artisan, AiSDR, Amplemarket and Apollo

Quick answer: Only two of these five vendors publish pricing. AiSDR lists $250 to $2,500 a month by contact volume, and Apollo lists $0 to $119 per user per month. 11x, Artisan, and Amplemarket gate pricing behind a sales call, and third-party estimates for them contradict each other by wide margins. Finding the best AI SDR on cost means modelling the whole stack, not the subscription.

The problem with every AI SDR pricing comparison

Before the numbers, a caveat that changes how you should read them, including here.

While researching this piece we found the same vendor reported at three different entry prices across four comparison sites, with different plan names attached. For gated vendors the spread was worse: one platform was reported at both roughly $3,750 a month and roughly $50,000 a year in articles published within weeks of each other. Some of those pages are written by competing vendors. Others copy each other.

So this comparison separates two categories and labels them plainly. Published pricing comes from the vendor's own pricing page, checked in August 2026. Reported pricing is what third parties claim about vendors who do not publish, and should be treated as a rough indication to verify on a call, not as fact. Any pricing article that presents gated enterprise rates as settled numbers is guessing.

Published pricing: AiSDR

AiSDR publishes all three tiers, which in this category is unusual enough to be a genuine differentiator.

Plan

Monthly

Annual

Solo

Explore

2 domains, 6 mailboxes, 5 LinkedIn accounts

Scale

$2,500

$24,000

2,500 contacts, unlimited users

6 domains, 18 mailboxes, 20 LinkedIn accounts

Annual billing carries a 20 percent discount. Solo runs month to month; Explore and Scale sit on quarterly contracts paid in advance, which means the real entry commitment above the Solo tier is $2,700 rather than $900. There is no free trial. Managed service is available as an add-on, priced per campaign at the middle tier and as a larger monthly uplift at the top tier.

The pricing metric matters as much as the price. AiSDR charges by AI-researched contacts rather than per seat, so cost tracks volume rather than team size. For a small team running high volume that is expensive; for a larger team running focused volume it is favorable.

Published pricing: Apollo

Apollo is a data and sales engagement platform with AI features rather than an autonomous agent, which is why its pricing looks nothing like the others. It is included here because buyers routinely compare it against AI SDR tools.

The subscription is not where Apollo's cost lands. Credits drive real spend: they expire at the end of each cycle with no rollover, phone number lookups consume many times what an email lookup does, and overage credits are billed per credit once you exceed the allowance. Teams doing heavy enrichment routinely spend well above the per-seat sticker.

Reported pricing: 11x, Artisan and Amplemarket

These three do not publish rates. What follows is what third parties report, and it should be treated as a starting point for a negotiation rather than a number to budget against.

  • 11x is enterprise-positioned with annual contracts and pricing behind a sales conversation. Reported figures cluster in two very different places, roughly $3,750 a month on an annual plan in one account and $50,000 to $60,000 a year in another. The wide gap likely reflects different plan tiers and negotiated terms rather than one source being wrong.

  • Artisan does not list pricing publicly and directs buyers to request a quote. Third-party estimates commonly place it in the low thousands per month, with one outlier reporting a much lower entry tier.

  • Amplemarket gates pricing as well. Its own published commentary describes per-seat pricing in the region of $3,200 per user per year at 25 users on a multi-year commitment, which works out near $267 per user per month including the wider platform.

The honest summary: if published pricing matters to your procurement process, that alone narrows this list to two.

The Total Cost of an AI SDR

The subscription is the smallest of five costs. This model is what we would use to budget any tool in this category, and it consistently changes which vendor looks cheapest.

Layer

What it covers

Why it gets missed

1. License

The advertised subscription

It is the only number vendors lead with

2. Data and credits

Contacts, enrichment, phone lookups, overages

Bundled by some vendors, billed separately by others

3. Sending infrastructure

Extra domains, mailboxes, warmup, deliverability monitoring

Included in some plans, an extra line item in others

4. Human oversight

Weekly review of output, reply handling, escalation

Treated as free because it is not invoiced

5. Ramp dead time

30 days of domain warmup plus weeks of message iteration

Paid for but produces no pipeline

Layers 2 and 3 explain most of the apparent price gaps between vendors. A tool that looks expensive because it bundles a contact database and 18 mailboxes may cost less in total than a cheaper tool where you buy data and sending infrastructure separately. AiSDR's own comparison makes this point in its favor, listing a lead database, sequencer, visitor identification, and signal tracking as separate subscriptions a bundled tool replaces.

Layer 4 is the one that undermines business cases. An agent that needs a few hours of review each week is consuming a meaningful share of a salary, which belongs in the comparison. Layer 5 is the one that ruins first-quarter reporting, because sending is deliberately throttled during warmup.

Which is the best AI SDR on price?

Cost per meeting is a better question than cost per month, so here is the arithmetic, with its assumptions stated.

Using AiSDR's own published planning benchmark of one to three meetings per hundred contacts reached, its tiers imply roughly $42 to $125 per meeting on Solo, $38 to $113 on Explore, and $33 to $100 on Scale. Set against in-house sales development, where published estimates put cost per held meeting somewhere between $800 and $1,150, the gap is an order of magnitude.

Three caveats keep that from being the whole story. The benchmark is directional and comes from the vendor. It counts meetings booked rather than meetings held or qualified. And it excludes layers 2 through 5 above. Add realistic oversight time and ramp, and the effective figure rises, though it stays well below the human benchmark on raw cost.

So the best AI SDR on price depends on shape rather than on a winner. Volume-priced tools favor larger teams running focused campaigns. Per-seat tools favor small teams running high volume per person. Gated enterprise contracts rarely make sense below a certain scale, because the floor price assumes a large addressable market.

What price does not tell you

Cost per meeting is the metric most of this category is sold on, and it is also where buyers get caught, because a booked meeting is an activity rather than an outcome.

In B2B, nobody defends a budget with impressions or with message volume, and the same is true of raw meeting counts. Value becomes real at the point you can show which target accounts moved closer to a decision. A tool that produces cheap meetings which do not survive to a second conversation has moved cost from one line to another rather than creating pipeline.

The practical version: before comparing vendors on price, decide what a qualified meeting means for your business, and then compare cost per meeting that reaches that bar. Most teams discover the ranking changes.

How to compare quotes and find the best AI SDR for your budget

  • Normalize the pricing metric. Convert per-seat, per-contact, and per-message pricing to a common unit, usually cost per contact reached per month.

  • Ask what is bundled. Get data, mailboxes, domains, and deliverability monitoring itemized. This is where quotes diverge most.

  • Ask about contract length and billing. Quarterly-in-advance and annual-only terms change your cash position even when the headline rate is similar.

  • Price the overages. Ask what a credit costs beyond the allowance and whether unused allowance rolls over.

  • Add your own oversight hours. Estimate weekly review time and price it at a loaded hourly rate.

  • Discount the ramp. Assume the first month produces no meaningful pipeline, and judge the annual cost against 11 productive months.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Comparing sticker prices. Bundled and unbundled tools are not comparable on subscription alone.

  • Trusting third-party numbers for gated vendors. Reported figures for the same platform differ by a factor of ten. Verify on a call.

  • Ignoring the billing model. A quarterly-in-advance contract at $900 a month is a $2,700 commitment before the first send.

  • Forgetting credits expire. Allowances that do not roll over mean you pay for capacity you never use in slow months.

  • Pricing meetings booked rather than meetings held. The cheaper cost per meeting often reflects a lower bar.

  • Leaving oversight out of the model. Review time is a real cost even though no one invoices you for it.

Conclusion and next steps

AI SDR pricing is less transparent than the category's marketing suggests. Two of the five most-compared vendors publish rates; the rest require a call, and the public numbers written about them are unreliable. Budget with the five-layer model rather than the subscription, normalize quotes to a common unit, and compare cost per qualified meeting rather than cost per meeting booked.

FAQ

How much does an AI SDR cost per month?

Published rates run from $250 a month for entry self-serve tiers up to $2,500 a month for higher-volume plans. Enterprise-positioned vendors gate pricing and are commonly reported in the tens of thousands per year. The subscription typically accounts for well under the full cost once data, sending infrastructure, and review time are included.

Which AI SDR publishes its pricing?

Among the most-compared vendors, AiSDR publishes all three tiers on its pricing page, and Apollo publishes per-seat rates including a free plan. 11x, Artisan, and Amplemarket require a sales conversation. Published pricing is worth weighting in a shortlist if your procurement process needs defensible numbers before a demo.

What hidden costs come with AI SDR tools?

Five layers sit beyond the license: data and credits, extra sending domains and mailboxes, deliverability monitoring, the human hours spent reviewing output, and the ramp period during which domain warmup limits sending. Credit expiry and overage rates are the most common source of unexpected spend.

Is an AI SDR cheaper than hiring an SDR?

On raw cost, clearly. Vendor planning benchmarks imply cost per meeting in the tens of dollars, against published in-house estimates of roughly $800 to $1,150 per held meeting. The comparison narrows once oversight, data, infrastructure, and meeting quality are accounted for, but does not reverse on cost alone.

What is the best AI SDR for a small team?

For small teams, the deciding factor is usually the pricing metric rather than the vendor. Volume-priced tools suit teams reaching a focused list, while per-seat tools suit one or two people running high volume. Published entry tiers around $250 a month with month-to-month terms let a small team test the motion without a quarterly commitment.
